Welcome to the Jbody.net Wiki
Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
Note: The forums have been shut down. The are still accessible for now, but will not be forever. The community is long gone, and the cost of maintaining the website is a burden these days. Eventually, the entire website will be taken offline. Thank you to everyone that participated in making this website what it is. I know I speak for everyone that was involved in the creation of this website, that I hope it was useful.
Thank you.

Writing Topics
Seeing as how this Wiki is brand new, feel free to write about anything AUTOMOTIVE related, even if it isn't specifically about J-bodies or 660 motors. As the subject matter in the Wiki develops and becomes more diverse, we can rename the wiki and shape it based on the demands and creativity of the community.
I have imported some general topics from wikipedia.
For example:
However, rather than the wiki being a general reference, I'd like the articles written here to be contextual. I'd like the articles written about J bodies to focus on J bodies, not to generalize about all different GM cars that share similar front ends (i.e Gen 2 Js & Berettas). If you want to write an article about a Beretta, that's ok, just make sure it has the platform or make in the title. (i.e J_body_brake_replacement, Berreta_3400_install_guide, etc) Specifically, when the install guides are written for swapping in different motors, I'd like individual install guides to be available for different platforms, with sections for different variations in years.
For instance:
- 3X00 in Gen1 J
- 3X00 in Gen2/Ph1&2 J
- 3X00 in Gen 3 J
- 3X00 in N Body (with year variations as needed)
- 3X00 in L Body (with year variations as needed)
Highly desirable topics include:
- How-To's
- Different Generations of the J body (see http://wiki.3400z24.com/GM_J_platform -- add to it with pictures as needed)
- Articles on the 3X00/3.1 Hybrid
- Performance articles (i.e. ECM tuning, Turbos, S/C, Nitrous)
- Custom PCMs (Megasquirt, Hal)
- Any FAQs on the fourms

Have fun,

Warning
Please be respectful of articles written by others. Feel free to make edits to them, but when making major changes (i.e contextual changes, more then correcting spelling & grammar) also explain your reasoning for doing so in the discussion page for that article. (You can find the discussion page by clicking on the "discussion tab" above any article) Anyone caught defacing articles will be banned from the wiki & domesticcrew forums.
