Descripton

This term is used to describe an engine that is comprised of a Gen 2 3.1 L shortblock, with the heads, intakes, and top end of a 3500 engine. The advantage of such an engine is that it allows one to retain the stock engine mounts from their J-body, yet greatly improves the air flow through the engine, increasing power. The 3500 features larger ports than even the 3400 engine.
